What Is Esports & Why Rich1988?
Esports, or electronic sports, has become one of the fastest-growing entertainment industries in Malaysia and around the world. Malaysian youth are no longer just playing video games for fun — they watch professional matches, support their favourite teams, and can now place bets on match outcomes through platforms like Rich1988.
Rich1988 is built for Malaysian players who want a safe, fair, and user-friendly esports betting experience. We support over 20 popular esports titles, covering matches from local competitions all the way to the international stage. Whether you're a fan of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), DOTA 2, Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), Valorant, League of Legends, or Free Fire — it's all here.
What sets Rich1988 apart from other platforms is our deep understanding of the local esports community. We keep up with MPL Malaysia (Mobile Legends Professional League), local Free Fire leagues, and Southeast Asian DOTA 2 and CS2 tournaments. Our players get access to more detailed betting markets — not just picking who wins or loses.
Beyond betting odds, Rich1988 also provides match statistics, head-to-head team history, player analysis, and the latest tournament schedules — giving bettors the tools to make informed decisions based on data, not just gut feeling.
